Student Governance
The Outspan Medical College Student Representative Council (OMCSRC) serves as the student government at the college. It functions as an avenue for expression and representation of student welfare issues by actively engaging with the college administration to ensure that student’ rights and privileges are maintained. It also plays an integral role in administration of clubs and associations. The OMC SRC has it mandate based in the vision, mission and philosophy of the college.
It is the primary organization that represents the student. It comprises of eleven members representing different fields .They are democratically elected through secret ballot by the students for a term of 12 months. The members elect form the executive which work closely with administration and it promotes vital services to the function of the college.
OMC SRC provides a forum through which student nurture and practice leadership skills, personal enrichment and community satisfaction. The college administration provides in house training for the members elect molding them into excellent managers and leaders.
